Coming to the end of summer....

Summer is coming to an end and it's been both a fun and transitional summer. First for the fun...

He talks with his hands like a true Italian (from his dad's side). Every time I think of him I smile.

Then I added my items to 3rd Street Antiques and Collectibles in Puyallup. Here's a couple of pieces that you'll find down there. Really great place.... go visit....

And then there was the adding of Amelia to our little family...

Zumba for Diane happened on August 15th. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this worthy event to raise money for such a wonderful person!

Lastly, taking a change in direction with my job and winding down my work in one area of The Boeing Company and going back to a group I have known well with a new role. Super excited! God is good!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! New items at "The Spare Room"

Happy New Year everyone!  2011 brought so many gifts especially with a new son in law and my Jim!!!!

I have been busy creating new items for the vintage shop in Everett just across from Comcast Arena. Such as this red table that I call "Redbarn Sweetheart Table"
The picture doesn't really show the true red doesn't show the real tones. This picture makes it look like it has brown tones, but it does not.

Here are some new frameables that were created..... I love doing the lettering!!!!!!

A large canvas.....
Then there is the an old screen that I did up.....

This is just a start to the New Year!!!!  Come visit "The Spare Room"!!!!! There's lots of really good stuff there!

The last several months.....

Boy things have been busy in the last several months but I have now had some time to make updates to this page! YAY!

Here are pictures of several venues where I sold my wares at garden and home type shows. Life has been good. Here are some pictures. They include my latest window designs which I am thrilled about. They are beautiful when the sun shines through them. I think they'd be perfect for a wedding or special event too!

Spokane Garden Expo May 13th update

A Cold Garden Show - but we're still good! This past weekend was the Spokane Garden Expo. There weren't a ton of people there as there have been in the past couple of years due to cold weather and a bit of intermittent rain. We managed to do okay though. The bummer was that on the driver over to Spokane, two windows were broken.  Oh my!  So expensive but a lot of value comes from lessons learned.
The windows were a lot larger but looked similar to these:
Here's more pictures of the booth:   The whole view NEW! Wedding signs
Wedding Banners, other banners....very fun and made of antique canvas and papers!  Garden wall hangings to include my new owls! Each one of these owls had names and a story behind them. This is Francine the Owl. She has garden & tea parties in the neighborhood for all the other lady owls. I have some new mixed media items that will be coming out soon. For now, that's my creative adventure news.  Stay tuned!
